Get ready for a roaring good time at the Berry Celtic Festival 2026! Returning once again, all the bands, clans, medieval villagers, singing, and dancing will make this a fun-filled day of entertainment and adventure.
One of the festival’s biggest highlights is the thrilling jousting, where heavily-armoured noble knights put on an incredible show of skill and bravery. The Highland Muscle competitions are also a crowd favourite, showcasing strength and tradition in true Celtic style.
Nestled on the South Coast of New South Wales, Berry is a charming town just about 145 kilometres south of Sydney. Famous for its historic buildings, lush countryside, and welcoming atmosphere, Berry draws visitors from far and wide to enjoy its quaint shops, cosy cafes, and lively events like the Celtic Festival.
The festivities kick off at 9:30am with a grand street parade featuring pipe bands in their vibrant kilts, clans, medieval knights, and adorable Scottish Terrier dogs. It’s a spirited procession that sets the tone for a day packed with fun.
The festival atmosphere continues with stalls, a Scottish soldiers’ camp, lively Celtic musicians, and talented artisans spinning and weaving. The parade ground becomes a lively avenue where pipers, drummers, knights on horseback, Highland Muscle, dancers, and soldiers take centre stage.
At the Berry Showground, you’ll find games, delicious tea, coffee, and scones, as well as crafts, fiddles, kilts, long socks, sashes, and feathers — all adding to the authentic Celtic experience.
The Rotary Club of Berry hosts the Celtic Festival as a fundraiser supporting disaster relief, education initiatives, and community projects.
Join in the fun on Saturday, 23 May 2026, and embrace your Celtic spirit! Entry is just $20 for adults, with children under 15 free.
