Set for Saturday, 24 May, this grand affair, hosted by the Warwick Caledonian Society, promises all the pageantry of Highland heritage with a distinctly local flavour.
For decades, young débutantes in flowing white gowns have made their entrance alongside kilted partners, stepping through the ceremonial “Sword Deb” archway — a symbolic nod to Scotland’s proud past and the promise of the next generation. A pipe band provides a stirring soundtrack while a live dance band ensures the night stays lively well into the evening.
More than just a ball, it’s a celebration of community, culture and continuity. Records of Warwick’s debutante tradition stretch back to the 1950s, and today it remains a highlight of the town’s social calendar.
To join the festivities or secure a seat at one of the most dazzling nights in regional Queensland, contact Anne Coy on 0488 466 646 or email WCS.Sec@outlook.com. Or see www.facebook.com/WarwickCaledonianSocietyInc.
Gowns, glens, and good times await in Warwick — just don’t forget your dancing shoes.
