Throughout the weekend, guests will be swept into the world of Jane Austen, with dance workshops for all experience levels leading up to a glittering Regency Ball on Saturday night. The festivities begin with a grand opening dinner on Friday, followed by a pre-ball dinner on Saturday, and delightful lunches, teas, and treats woven in between. Special dietary requirements are thoughtfully catered for, ensuring every guest can indulge.
One of the highlights of the weekend is a special visit to the nearby Golden Vale Homestead, a private National Trust property. There, participants will enjoy the homestead’s magnificent gardens and gather for a charming Sunday picnic amidst sweeping views and autumn colours.

The program also promises engaging guest speakers, who will bring Regency history and culture to life, alongside hands-on craft workshops and outdoor pursuits such as archery and horse-drawn carriage rides, offering a lively and authentic experience of the era. Some workshops and activities attract an additional cost, and guests are warmly encouraged to contribute a plate for the Ball supper — a delightful way to share the celebration.
As always, Sydney Regency Weekends welcomes enthusiastic volunteers, with discounted tickets available for those willing to lend a hand during the event.
