The festival transforms Mylor into a realm of myth and merriment, where visitors are invited to step into a world full of music, dance, and spectacle. From the lively Morris dancers to the towering giants and mischievous hobby horses, there’s no shortage of captivating performances. The excitement continues with the appearance of guisers and the chance to join in the torchlight procession, which leads the crowd to the heart of the festival — the bonfire. And don’t forget the magic of dressing up. Whether you’re channelling a greenman, fae, Viking, or wizard, everyone is encouraged to embrace their inner mythical creature and be part of the spectacle.

As you explore the festival, you’ll find plenty to fuel both your body and spirit. Delicious food vendors offer a variety of tasty bites, while the Aussie Cider Bar and Spier and Wright Whisky Bar will keep your glass topped up with something special. The artisan craft market invites you to browse local treasures, adding a touch of creativity to the festivities.

Throughout the day, you’ll be treated to an array of live performances, from soulful tunes by Cal Williams Jr to the foot-stomping rhythms of the Dustbowl Chic. 

The festival even offers a chance to enjoy traditional Maypole dancing, storytelling, and the whimsical antics of the Fayre Guisers Mummers Players. As the evening draws near, the festival builds to its grand finale with the fiery burning of the wickerman, a fitting end to a day filled with revelry.

The full line-up includes the artisan craft market, Spier & Wright Whisky Bar, Aussie Cider Bar, and food trucks with a mouth-watering selection. The festival will also showcase performances by Spiral Dance, Cal Williams Jnr, Dustbowl Chic, Luker Southern, and Hot For Joe Morris dancers. Don’t miss the lively tunes from Dan Burt and Dobbin, the engaging storytelling sessions, and the whimsical giants, dragons, geezers, and hobby horses. The Whisky Bar Shanty Singers will bring their sea shanties to life, while Preston’s Historic Punch and Judy Show offers a dose of classic entertainment. The ALEiens English Session Band will keep the energy high, and the Fayre Guisers Mummers Players will add some traditional flair. As the evening unfolds, Winter Amour will enchant, The Dancing Monsters will mesmerise, and the grand finale — the burning of the wickerman — will light up the night sky.
