Scottish Australian Heritage Council invites you to Scottish Week 2024 from Friday, 28th June to Tuesday, 2nd July in Sydney.
They shared: “Come and enjoy what is one of Australia’s premier Scottish heritage events. The Honoured Guest for Scottish Week is John MacNeacail of MacNeacail and Scorrybreac, Chief of Clan MacNicol.”
The events include a Burns dinner, history talks, a visit to an historical site, Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan at the Hunter Baillie Memorial Presbyterian Church, Annandale, the council’s traditional luncheon at New South Wales Parliament House, and concluding with an inspection of the Scotland-Australia Cairn at Mosman.
The Scottish Australian Heritage Council was founded in 1981 to foster that heritage and culture brought to Australia by Scottish immigrants.
