The quaint town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales is reeling after a star-studded visit from Bridgerton’s newest romantic leads, Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton. The pair, known collectively as “Polin” and playing the beloved characters Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, graced Bowral as part of the celebrations for the release of Bridgerton Season 3 on Netflix.

Bowral was transformed into a picturesque Regency wonderland, perfectly echoing the opulence and charm of the series. The visit in April by actors Nicola, from Galway in Ireland, and Luke, from Brighton in England, added an extra layer of excitement to the event, with fans flocking to catch a glimpse of the new hot couple of the ton.

Bong Bong Street and other select locations were lavishly decorated in Bridgerton style, creating a stunning backdrop for a week-long celebration. The streets and gardens of Bowral were filled with Regency-themed activities, making visitors feel as if they had stepped straight into the world of Bridgerton.

Bowral’s Empire Cinemas became the focal point for fans, hosting exclusive free screenings of the first episode of Bridgerton Season 3. Over two days, enthusiastic audiences were treated to an early viewing, with every screening drawing a full house. The presence of Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton at some of these screenings sent waves of delight through the crowd.

The festivities culminated in a grand garden party at the magnificent Milton Park Country House Hotel & Spa, where the grounds were a scene of Regency elegance, complete with guests in period costumes and delicious refreshments. Nicola and Luke, along with showrunner Jess Brownell, mingled with fans, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and posing for countless photos.

To see if the days of a close Eloise and Pen are truly history and if Colin and Pen can withstand Pen’s secret, you can watch part 2 of Series 3 on Netflix on June 13th.
