This year’s calendar features the “hunks of agriculture” from various corners of the country, hailing from Cork, Wexford, Dublin, Roscommon, Tipperary, and Kilkenny. As tradition dictates, these topless farmers are captured in their natural habitat, often accompanied by endearing farm animals. From sunglasses-wearing sheep to adorable bunny rabbits and even a Lamborghini pulling a hay trailer, the 2024 calendar showcases the whimsy and allure of rural life.
While it’s no stranger to turning heads and topping charts, the Irish farmer calendar’s popularity knows no bounds. Orders flood in from across the globe, with fans as far away as the US, Australia, Brazil, Japan, and South Africa eagerly awaiting their annual dose of countryside charm.
The 2023 calendar had expanded to include 23 images, an effort to compensate for the impact of the pandemic on previous years. However, the demand for more proved insatiable. Ciara Ryan, the creative force behind the calendar, decided to curate a “fan favorites” edition, delighting enthusiasts around the world.
