Following his extended and biggest UK and Ireland stand-up tour to date, which included five consecutive nights at London’s Hackney Empire plus a sold-out London Palladium show, award-winning comedian Ed Gamble is bringing his latest show Hot Diggity Dog to Australia in April.
TOUR DATES
- 15 – 20 APR Melbourne VIC
- 23 APR Perth WA
- 26 APR Sydney NSW
- 29 APR – 01 MAY Brisbane QLD
Ed will perform across major cities, including six consecutive nights in Melbourne, plus stops in Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane. This marks Ed’s second tour down under, following the sell-out success of Electric in 2023. The Hot Diggity Dog tour kicks off on 15th April in Melbourne.
Ed has minced a load of meat (thoughts), piped it into a casing (show), and it’s coming to a bun (venue) near you. Expect classic Gamble ranting, raving, and spluttering—but he’s doing fine mentally. Promise.
Ed said, “I’m delighted to be packing all my underwear into my little satchel and returning to Australia and New Zealand. Last time I was over, a woman was late because a chicken pecked her in the eye. That’ll be hard to top, but we’ll try.”
In a busy period, Ed brought his multi-award-winning Off Menu podcast with James Acaster to the live stage, released his book Glutton: The Multi-Course Life of a Very Greedy Boy, and hosted BBC2’s The Traitors: Uncloaked podcast. Crowned champion of Taskmaster series nine, he appeared in the Champion of Champions episode and hosts the Taskmaster Podcast.
Ed’s credits include Mock the Week, Great British Menu, Live at the Apollo, and Almost Royal. His previous tours, Electric and Blizzard, were hugely successful, with Blood Sugar released as an Amazon Prime special.
Tickets are now on sale from Bohm Presents.
