The festival begins with a lively street march down Vincent Street, featuring a parade of pipe bands in full swing.

After a 30-year hiatus, the beloved heavy games, which showcase feats of strength, will also make a highly-anticipated comeback.
Events include Light Hammer (Victorian Championship), Heavy Hammer (Victorian Championship), Stone Put, Light Weight for Distance, Weight Over Bar and Caber Toss.

The Daylesford Highland Gathering has proudly celebrated and shared Scottish culture, music and dance for more than 70 years.
Established in 1952 by Dan McKinnon, the gathering has a long-standing history of bringing people interested in the Scottish culture from within Australia and internationally.
