Get into the festive spirit with an electrifying Balkan and Celtic Dance Night! Join Balkan Boogie and Kejafi-X for an unforgettable double bill, where these two incredible bands will put on a show that celebrates traditional cultures with music and dance.
DATES & DEETS
Balkan Boogie is a celebrated Balkan dance and concert band led by dance master Yorgo Kaporis and musician Andy Busuttil. The music and dances are sourced from Macedonia, Turkey and Greece and generate enormous enthusiasm from audience members of all backgrounds and musical interests.

This is a full-on participative band and gathers festival goers together in the true festival spirit. During the dances and concerts, excited and enthusiastic dancers, both experienced and beginner, turn up to celebrate their skills and the joy of discovering and re-discovering the true sense of community in dance and music.
Kejafi has crafted a unique sound within the Celtic music world, and now they’re taking it to the next level! For this special Celtic dance night, they’re joined by Ann Palumbo on double bass and Irish experimental musician Ciarán Geoghegan. Together, they form Kejafi X, ready to kick off your Christmas festivities with re-mixed tunes and songs from their widely acclaimed second album, The Road and a few old favourites.
