
The Irish Film Festival Australia is back for its biggest year yet, celebrating a milestone 10th birthday from October 17 to November 24. This year’s festival promises to be more exciting than ever, with an impressive array of Irish films and documentaries lighting up screens across five major Australian cities, as well as being available online nationwide.
The festivities kick off in Sydney at Dendy Cinema in Newtown from October 17 to 20, followed by Melbourne’s Cinema Nova in Carlton from October 24 to 27. From November 1 to 3, Perth audiences will get their turn at Luna Cinema in Leederville, while Brisbane joins in at Dendy Cinema in Coorparoo from November 15 to 17. Finally, Canberra wraps up the in-person screenings at Dendy Cinema from November 22 to 24.
If you can’t make it to the cinema, don’t worry — the Irish Film Festival will also be streaming online from October 17 to November 3, allowing viewers across Australia to enjoy the very best of Irish cinema from the comfort of their homes.
