It will be kilts and bagpipes as far as the eye can see at the largest Highland Gathering in Western Australia, to be held in Armadale this October.
Join the fun at the new location of Champion Lakes Regatta Centre to celebrate all things Scottish. You don’t need to be Scottish to take part in this annual tradition, so gather your family and friends for a jam-packed day of Scottish culture and fun.
The morning kicks off with the fun and quirky Perth Kilt Run – the only charity fun run in Australia done in a kilt! Purchase your very own kilt when you register for the 2.5km Classic or the 5km Warrior. By participating in the run, you’ll be raising funds for charity, as well as having a good time. Dogs are welcome to join the 2.5km Classic course!
Part of the proceeds will support headspace Armadale, The Amanda Young Foundation, and Dogs’ Refuge Home. You can also fundraise for your chosen charity!

The excitement continues after the Perth Kilt Run at the Armadale Highland Gathering. Spend the rest of the day exploring Scottish market stalls, watching Highland dancing, enjoying bagpipe competitions, meeting Scottish dogs, and witnessing the hotly contested heavy events as competitors show off their incredible strength.
Let your imagination run wild in the medieval fair, learn about your ancestry with the clans and societies, and then kick up your heels with live music and ceilidh dancing.
This is a family-friendly, smoke- and vape-free event. For further details and Perth Kilt Run registrations, visit www.perthkiltrun.com.au.
So what are you waiting for? Join in the fun, get your kilt on, and enjoy the run!
