Award-winning Dublin four-piece The Script are heading back down under on their Satellites World Tour for January and February 2025! This will be the band’s first Australian shows in close to three years, after their electric 2022 Greatest Hits Tour.
“Australia always holds a special place in our touring hearts so we can’t wait to come back early 2025 to play the hits and new songs from our forthcoming new album Satellites,” said The Script’s singer Danny O’Donoghue.
Australia’s favourite Irishmen will embark on seven huge performances across the country, including arena shows in Wollongong and Sydney and A Day on The Green winery and outdoor shows across the Hunter Valley, Mount Cotton, Geelong, Barossa Valley and Perth.
Joining The Script on this epic run of shows will be Brit Award nominated singer Calum Scott (all A Day on The Green shows), local dynamic pop artist Montaigne (all A Day on The Green shows), pop-rock multi-platinum trio X Ambassadors (all A Day on The Green shows plus Sydney and Wollongong arena dates), and up-and-coming Melbourne local Lotte Gallagher (all A Day on The Green shows excluding Perth).
Last wowing Australian audiences in 2022, The Script took fans on a trip down memory lane with performances of essential tracks such as The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, For The First Time, Nothing and the emotionally charged Breakeven, reminding fans of the powerful songwriting that propelled The Script to become a household name. The Script’s new album, Satellites, marks their seventh studio album and first since the passing of beloved bandmate and guitarist Mark Sheehan.
Since forming in 2001, The Script have cemented themselves as one of the most definitive pop groups of their era, achieving more than 10 billion streams and 12 million album sales.
