The 10th Annual Townsville Tartan Day in Queensland is tuning up, ready for a celebration that brings together Scots and Scottish enthusiasts alike for a day of festivities.

This free event is the main event of Townsville Tartan Weekend, running from 14th to 16th June.

This year, Clan MacNicol takes centre stage, with Clan Chief Scorrybreac leading the festivities. 

The weekend kicks off with a meet and greet on Friday. Then on Saturday, it’s Scots in the Park, with heavy games, pipe bands and clan tents at Corcoran Park. Plus a Clansmen’s Ceilidh at Townsville RSL on Saturday night from 6pm. 

Townsville Tartan Day on Sunday will see with a grand procession on Flinders Street, culminating in the Kirkin’ of the Tartans. The Clan Parade showcases the largest display of Clan Banners in Australia.
