Celtic Council of Australia Queensland will host the first Brisbane Celtic Festival on Sunday, October 13th, kicking off at 10am and running till 4pm. 

The new Celtic event will be held at the Celtic Nations Monument Brisbane Standing Stones which opened in 2023 in Moorlands Park. 

This will be a celebration of the culture, music, clothing, traditions, language, food, and drink of the Celtic nations of Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia and Asturias. 

Celtic Council of Australia Queensland President Mavis Williams told Anglo&Celtic that plans for the festival include massed pipe bands, musicians on stage, dancers on stage, stalls and food.
