Step into the enchanting world of Europa! Europa, a dazzling celebration of European cinema. The festival is back for its third edition, promising three weeks of awe-inspiring and entertaining Australian premieres.
Running until March 10th, the best new European films will grace the screens of Ritz Cinemas in Randwick for Sydney audiences and Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick, along with Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn for the cinephiles of Melbourne.
Europa! Europa isn’t just a film festival; it’s a vibrant hub of extraordinary cinema, lively storytelling, and community spirit.
With a kaleidoscopic view into the experiences of 47 diverse European countries including the UK and Ireland, this celebration invites you to join the cinematic journey only available in theatres.
A highlight is the Yorgos Lanthimos Retrospective, featuring six films from the master of the Greek Weird Wave. Among these is The Killing of a Sacred Deer starting Irish actor Barry Keoghan. These wickedly funny and impeccably stylized creations showcase cinema at its most surreal, provocative, and entertaining.
