The Melbourne Highland Games & Celtic Festival, in partnership with the Hobsons Bay City Council, is proud to announce the return of the Williamstown Highland & Celtic Gathering for 2023. This event promises a vibrant celebration of Highland and Celtic culture, offering a diverse range of activities and attractions for attendees of all ages.
The Williamstown Highland & Celtic Gathering will take place at Seaworks Williamstown on Saturday, 28th October 2023, from 10am to 3pm. Visitors can immerse themselves in the captivating world of Scottish Highland dancing and Celtic dance performances. The event’s atmosphere will be filled with the enchanting sounds of traditional bagpipes and music, creating a truly immersive experience.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of stalls featuring Celtic heritage, displays of Scottish traditions, and a tempting array of food and merchandise to savor. This year’s gathering will also introduce a special feature: a display of traditional Scottish Heavy Games, promising a thrilling spectacle.
Families are encouraged to join in the festivities, as there will be plenty of activities for children to enjoy. A native petting zoo will introduce young ones to friendly animals, while mini-games and face painting will keep them entertained throughout the day. Additionally, a coloring competition and a round of mini golf will provide endless fun for kids.
