A true blue celebrity has arrived at the Achill Experience aquarium and visitor centre in Achill Island, Ireland, and his name is Bluey. But no, it’s not the famous cartoon dog from Brisbane, in fact, it’s a rare blue lobster.
This isn’t your ordinary lobster tale; this stunning blue beauty is a one-in-two-million find, and the locals are flipping their tails over it.
Bluey found himself in a pinch when he was caught by Michael Kelly, a skilled fisherman from Sligo. Michael pulled in this dazzling catch and decided to share the spotlight with the lucky inhabitants of the Achill Aquarium. Accompanied by his wife Sheila and their grandchildren, Taylor and Kacey McLoughlin, the Kelly family personally delivered Bluey to the aquarium.
