Steve-O, famed for his wild antics on the infamous Jackass series, found himself in a tight spot with London police last month.
The daredevil, whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover, took his dangerous stunts to new heights by leaping off London’s iconic Tower Bridge into the River Thames.
Donning a Union Jack-themed outfit, Steve-O thrilled onlookers with his fearless jump, but it wasn’t all fun and games. The police were waiting to detain him as soon as he resurfaced from the river.
Despite the drama, Steve-O managed to give a shoutout for his ‘Bucket List’ stand-up comedy tour before being whisked away in a police car.
Wimbledon-born Steve is widely known for his dangerous stunts, including snorting wasabi, locking himself in a full portable toilet and being sling shotted into the air, and even walking on a tight rope over hungry alligators.
He also stirred up controversy that same week in London by climbing onto the rooftop of a double-decker bus. In true Steve-O fashion, he posted about it on Facebook, saying: “The bus driver was really cool about the surprise, too.”
While the police may have appreciated his enthusiasm, it seems Steve-O’s antics can’t help but attract attention – both from fans and law enforcement.
